Computationalfluid mechanics, micro fluid mechanics, seabed hydro-mining techniques.

Scientific achievement

In2006, Hu Xuqu obtained a bachelor degree in theoretical and applied mechanicsfrom Fudan University, and then entered the Shanghai Institute of AppliedMathematics and Mechanics/Shanghai University's major in fluid mechanics. In2009, he was awarded a national grant to the French National Research CenterCNRS UMR7338. Room/Compigne technical university, Ph.D., studied under thechairman of the World Society of Biomechanics, Dominique Barthes-Biesel. In2013, he joined the School of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering of HunanUniversity as an assistant professor (instructor). His research interestsinclude biomechanics, computational fluid dynamics, microfluidics,microcapsules and cell mechanics modeling. He has participated in or hosted manyresearch fund projects at home and abroad. Some of the research results havebeen published in the top journals in the field of fluid mechanics, including Journal of Fluid Mechanics and Physical Review E.
